Everyone has something they are looking forward to in the summer, for us, this year it is the second annual Worship in the Adirondacks concert! We took our sons last year and it was a truly amazing time, thousands of people gathered out in God’s great creation, worshiping him and learning of ways to serve others. It was wonderful, our boys truly enjoyed their first concert and since then we have been sponsoring a young boy from Colombia. It has been a blessing to our family, knowing we are making a difference in someone else’s life! If you would like information on sponsoring a child, please feel free to contact me!
June is also the month we are working hard on getting our garden going, we have already planted many things and praying that it will thrive in this sketchy New York weather. Northern NY means that on this first weekend of June it’s actually a little chilly outside, we are set to have a high of 62 today! What is the weather like where you are? What are some things that you like to grow and that thrive well in your climate? I for one would love to grow some citrus but that is not happening here!
Have a blessed weekend, make it count!
